predictable with a cliffhanger

Listening to this was comparable to verbal porn. The heroine is highly over sexualized (nympho) and thinks of nothing else. Low morales are deeply ingrained in every fiber of the heroine to her very core. I believe less is more,especially with this story- overkill erotica. The whole family is dysfunctional, so the daughters come by it naturally. So many impulsive immature moments! The cliffhanger is the icing on a crap cake. This is 11 hours I'll never get back, sadly. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was okay.

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes romance books! I can’t wait for the next one

Started slow but then I was hooked.

I had a hard time with the beginning but then the characters started to grow on me. I'm ready to start the next book in the series to see what plays out next.

steamy with a cliffhanger

first time listening to both narrator and author. I think the narrator does a good job with the characters.

I enjoyed the story. there was a good story line, drama and lots of steam which I always enjoy.

I did have issues with Courtney's lack of speech at time.s "elliot I" is her favorite line, I couldn't stand when she led Elliot to believe the things she did near the end.

I also find that different characters and there back stories get thrown in randomly and it gets a little confusing.

however I am still interested in learning what happens between Elliot and courtney.

it does end on a cliff hanger.

I really liked this book a lot. This is my first time reading/listening a book where the main female character was so damaged with her past and dysfunctional family which led her to be so promiscuous. Unlike some books that just goes into superficial storyline, this book goes into the psychological effect a person has due to childhood trauma. In the beginning of the book, I was put off by the female character but as the story goes on, I started to sympathize for her. And the narrator of this book was awesome. Her voice was full of emotion when it needed to be, unlike some other narrators who sound like some monotone computer. And her voice was pretty diverse with different characters as the story went on. Just a warning, this book contains a lot of sex. I feel like this book falls more into erotica/romance rather than just romance. Some readers were complaining about that but I was like hell yes!

Okay story

I overall thought it was an okay story to listen to to pass some time. I did feel like it was a little too much in the erotica side and it did seem like a strange family overall. It does end in a cliffhanger, but pretty much predictable of what happens.
