Acerca de esta escucha

The brutal siege of Orgrimmar is over.

Alliance and Horde forces have stripped Garrosh Hellscream, one of the most reviled figures on Azeroth, of his title as warchief. His thirst for conquest devastated cities, nearly tore the Horde apart, and destroyed countless lives throughout the World of Warcraft.

Now, on the legendary continent of Pandaria, he will stand trial for his transgressions.

Renowned leaders from across the world have gathered to witness this historic event. As the trial unfolds, agents of the bronze dragonflight present shocking visions of Garrosh's atrocities. For many of those in attendance, these glimpses into history force them to relive painful memories and even question their own innocence or guilt. For others, the chilling details stoke the flames of their hatred.

Unbeknownst to anyone, shadowy forces are at work on Azeroth, threatening not only the court's ability to mete out justice…but also the lives of everyone at the trial.

not the greatest story I've ever "read" but definitely worth at least one listen, especially if you are a fan.

Lots of character development between Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor. Absolute joy to listen to.

Very eventful listen too.

This story had me at hello, such a great audio book, read perfectly, couldn't ask for better narration, Morgan freeman would be proud

Thrilling

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Only if he or she is interested in the World of Warcraft lore, because it goes into nice and rather interesting detail on the basis of the newest expansion's main plotline and on how it started

What did you like best about this story?

Baine Bloodhoof's overall character and calmness, and Jaina's redemption after the way the whole Mists of Pandaria shenanigans nearly ruined her whole character. Also seeing Anduin in action and a more prominent role was a nice sight.

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He gives just the right tones for each of the characters, i could swear he was the actual in-game VA of Baine and Varian, even with the kind of passion as an old-time player of the game/franchise would.

Quite a passionate reader

It was an interesting story seeing on how all characters have their points of views on Garrosh's trial, but the way everything happens within the trial is somewhat expected at some point between tyrande and baine, the most interesting is how other characters develop through it

Very interesting but repetitive story

This story brought to life some of my favorite characters and filled in the gaps with the lore amazingly well. As a player of the game, wow didn't explain very well what happened between the Mists of Pandarea and Draenor and I was left very confused when they announced the next expansion (time travel and all that). This book clears it all right up and brings to life everything you could've ever hoped for.

Amazing Story and a must listen

I'm generally a fan of WoW novels, especially from Christie Golden. The story started strong and intense until the last 6 chapters. Tempo changed dramatically towards the end and I didn't understand what was happening anymore. Narration was great, and the dialogues and moments during the trial were engaging.

Strong start

The story itself wasn't bad although some of the characters who were supposed to be good guys weren't very likeable. But the narrator had the smoothest voice ever. I'd listen to him narrate a book about grass growing and enjoy every minute.

Story was OK. Narrator was great
