Just the facts

I was expecting something more thought provoking and maybe highlights of lessons learned or implications for the future, but really what this is is a data packed review of historical events. I liked it, but it wasn't nearly as interesting as I hoped. The narrator is pretty weak in my opinion. She sounds like one of those automated voices on the phone. She seems to accent the wrong words making her sound like he's not paying attention to what she's reading.

Great Summary of World History

The reader and author gave a thoughtful version of the multiple topics of history. This is the abbreviate version so the details are available on other longer versions of World History. I really liked the context of each country's leadership and time periods which helped me understand the various aspects of their decisions.

I'm impressed with this audible

I didn't have any idea how to earn money from stocks until I listen to this book. It has caught my ears that I just couldn't stop listening till the end. Thanks to the author.

Enjoyed

This is how American history was meant to be shared and it's an important book for the age we find ourselves in, Especially as we become frustrated with the present and begin to think it can't get any worse. Enjoy!

Such a wonderful listen indeed

I am so proud that I got this book because I really love to listen Ancient History. This book is nicely narrated and it gives me more urge to discover many things in the past. So lovely and highly appreciated work from the author!

Great for study

Having to study for a GED test, I have been studying many subject. My eyes have been tired, since I don't need a visual to study on World History, I thought an audio book on the subject might be a solution. The best idea ever, and I can hear it at home, or away on my cell phone. This book covers it all, it is enjoyable, like a good story, I loved it, and I learned. It took about 2-3 days. I can now enjoy it again, to be totally be prepared for my test. Thank You Adam Brown!

This is such a helpful listen for me as I am very interested to know the history and the essence of knowing the things in the past. This is an exciting book.

I got this for my son to go along with his other history books. They made him want more information about the world history. I’m so glad I purchased it.

Nice book

This is exactly what I needed. I needed something that would give me a basis for history study. I read a chapter to my daughter a day and we dig deeper off that through google or youtube videos on each chapter. It's fantastic!
