Exciting, frustrating and exhilarating! A cross between James Bond and Jack Reacher. Quite Enjoyable series!

More of a movie guy…

Being that I enjoy movies much more than books, I wasn’t sure I would enjoy these readings. I was more than pleasantly surprised at how engaged I was with each book. Eric is an outstanding narrator and the stories are hard to stop listening to. I wish there were a couple more Carter Blake books to add to my library.

Absolutely love this story, ya think someone will live but they get killed off, This book keeps you on the edge of your seat with actions. Smartly written with a surprise in every chapter. Rey enjoyable.

Exciting and thrilling

This book was needed to understand "the man" it gives clarity to the character and just kept me intrigued with the story and the fact that it was not the first book in the series was even better for me. The narration, the character, and the story-line kept me wanting more, extremely enjoyabble

Good stuff

With well over 800 books in my library I am always looking for new series. This is the third book and the first and second we’re just as good. Intelligent and everything I look for in this genre. Highly recommended. Narration is very good as well. Top notch stuff!

Enjoyed

At first it changed time frames often and I would get lost and have to rewind, but I enjoyed the story nonetheless. I enjoyed the manhunt and the time jumps let you meet the other characters and get a taste of what Blake did in his previous life. It's toned down in gore compared to my usual murder mystery novels, but these guys are professional assassins who don't play with their food. A thrilling end wrapped it up nicely! 🎁

Carter Blake’s a great character

Mason Cross and Eric Meyers teamed up for another captivating and entertaining story. Always enjoy two stories within one - at times it felt like at least three which kept me very engaged. Hope Blake keeps pursuing exciting work.
