Excellent Duology!!

Didn’t want to rate these until I finished both books. Was hooked instantly by the first book - such a cool creative world and what a cliff hanger at the end! Immediately started this book and it didn’t disappoint. Felt the conclusion tidied up all loose ends and left me feeling good. Also love how each book got me really digging into my own thoughts on ethics and technology. Not something I expected but that’s of course why I love to read and listen - gets me thinking about things I wouldn’t normally even consider. Nancy Wu did a great job with the narration. Nothing dramatic or obnoxious. Easy to follow which character was which. Highly recommend for a good fantasy fiction series that’s refreshingly only 2 books long!

I love all the characters and I love this book! I listened to the whole thing in a day in a half it was just that good!

Cool setting, interesting story

I enjoyed the relationship between the main character and her father. The futuristic Tokyo setting was very cool. Some of the characters on her warcross team seemed under developed. Several LGBTQ threads felt shoehorned in to check diversity boxes.
