Bo is a delightful character

Bo is an omega wolf, a EMT. Ryker is an alpha biker without a pack. All they have in common is that they are mates. When Ryker crashes his bike Bo comes to the scene to take of him. Ryker is an extremely dominating alpha. Taken aback at the omega that stands up to him, never having met a such strong omega. Ryker’s secrets don’t bode well for their relationship. When the truth surfaces something has to give and it certainly won’t be the omega.

The story was ok, it just didn’t flow well for me. I can’t tell if that was writing or from the narration. I’ve never listened to Barney Parkwynne before. While his gruff voice fit the alpha okay, his inflections carried the gruffness over to other characters. I really liked Bo’s feisty nature. He really carried the story.

Wild Ride Review

The beginning of the story really grabbed me and I was very interested as to where this story was going. It seemed to slow a little bit for me and some things came really quickly that it was such a sudden switch. I couldn't really get into the characters, they seemed great but I wasn't really feeling Ryker, big bad alpha. The narrator did a good job but over time it just seemed like too much.

I liked the story

Bo and Ryker were great together. I loved how they had so much to teach each other. It really made for a great book. The storyline kept me engaged and very excited to see what was next. I did however have a hard time with the narrator. I could not get a connection with the story the way he was reading it. It fell flat for me as far as that was concerened.

Enjoyable listen

Wild Ride by Preston Walker is an M/M aranormal romance with shifters and mpreg. There is action, danger, drama, angst, sqeetness and heat. The story is enjoyable and the characters are interesting.
BARRY barkwynne narrates the story and does a great job. Clear recording and entertaining performance.

Ehh

I’m not sure how to feel about this one. Bo and Ryker are an interesting couple but I had issues with the world building. Somehow the shifters clothes disappear and reappear upon shifting with no explanation. The narrator voice worked well for Ryker but not as much for Bo.

Puppy love

New to me author and narrator. I really enjoyed Beau, one of the MC's in this story. I liked how this omega was following his job interest and due to his progressive pack was not your "typical" omega. He understood some things alphas were better at and some things omegas were better at but pulling together they could be equals. I tried hard to like Ryker but in the end I was left wanting better for both Beau and the story. I am not sure if it was the cadence or why the narration just seemed off but ithad me coming out of the story a few times.

at first I had a hard time getting into this book because the narration was very punctual then I started to get further into it and it was just because of the different characters that they were approached rating. I highly recommend this book it was very well written and I love it the surprise and pregnancy that happened but in the story

New to me author, good story

this was a new to me author. The story was good, could have been a little longer. Beau is an Omega from a progressive pack. He's working one night when the ambulance he's working on comes to the scene of an accident, Ryker, an Alpha has wrecked his motorcycle. He's also Beau's mate. Ryker's pack is a bunch of "misfits" that no one else really wants. It had lots of steam, action and redemption. I had a little trouble with the narration personally. I didn't really feel the narrator fit the story. I've listened to to other stories by Barney Parkwyne and usually love them.

Enjoyable

It was a new Author and Narrator for me, but I'm glad I took the chance to listen to this one. I enjoyed the story and the characters.
I thought the narrator did a good job.
There were a few dark moments that took me by surprise, but they didn't take away from the overall story.

Mpreg Biker Story

This was an all around new to me experience. Both the author and narrator were new to me. The story was about a rough biker alpha that comes across his mate, a patient emergency tech omega. The story was enjoyable. The two characters have to learn to be with each other, trust each other, then create a future with each other. Gruffness meeting natural care giver. The voice over was a little difficult for me. The narrator has the gruffness that was needed to portray this story but at times I felt his inflections were in the wrong place for where they should be.
