great reference for beginners

What I liked most about this book was that the author presented a broad perspective without bias. This approach is excellent for those who are new to Wicca.After a decade spent away from the Craft, I recently was drawn back to Wicca. These book is really very informative. I would highly recommended this book.

A good little intro

I'm just getting interested in pursuing Wiccan practices in my own eclectic way.If you're looking for a way to dip your toe into the practice, this is a nice start. However, it is certainly just a minute fraction of the tip of the iceberg.

Great Book

I LOVED this book. It serves as an excellent guide for those interested in learning about the craft but have nowhere to start. I also loved how the author tried their best to keep it as unbiased as possible. They even stated that their opinion might be unconsciously biased due to the nature of how different Wicca is for every practitioner.
I would have liked some more extensive correspondence tables, but i can just find them online .

A great beginner's book

A great beginner's book. It gave a solid base of information for someone looking to get started on the Wiccan path. It was clear, concise & easy to listen! I loved it! Definitely glad I purchased it along with several other books by this author!

Amazing book. Fantastic Writer.

So, I've been interested in Wicca for many years, but never really felt that it was a good fit for me. However, revisiting this religion, I have found that I am more and more drawn to it. I purchased this book to reintroduce myself to the religion, as well as to educate myself. I have learned so much and have realized that Wicca is something that I would like to practice. It's about energy and intuition. Wicca is beautiful and I am honored to have been chosen to be involved with it.

Good Book

Very well written - after 10 years within the pagan community and as a practicing witch, this provided a well rounded introduction to Wicca, that was easily accessible and understandable, but still relevant and interesting, even when covering information a non-newbie already knew.

Excellent book

Happily, no weird turns into the super 'magical' parts and instead keeps things simple and direct w/ 'props', spells, etc. I especially like the chapter including manifestation, as that's such a huge part of my practice. Chapters are short but full of information and a great stepping stone to a more in depth book on religion or Wicca.

funny, but informative

This book answered alot of the questions I had about wicca.Not only does this book explain alot of grey areas, the author gives details on those explainations and the history of their beginnings. I would highly recommend this book.

Excellent book

As a teacher, this is my preferred book for students of various levels. Solid information, well-written. Author strikes a very good balance with enough information, but not too much, and the book doesn't go off on tangents nor bog down in minutiae. The material is presented seriously and credibly, and in a welcoming, accessible way.

A very brief overview of Wicca.It offers a quick look into Wicca, its celebrations and rituals, its history, and ways to continue the path if you wish. It's also good for people just looking for information about the Craft.
