Is there anything you would change about this book?

As there little relevance in the book to the title, it is quite dissapointing in terms of content as it hovers broadly over a wide scope of subjects ranging from the historic development of the US economy to the evolution and current needs of the education system... with occasional links back to Philanthropy.

Would you recommend Why Philanthropy Matters to your friends? Why or why not?

I would not recommend this book as a relevant piece of litterature concerning contemporary Philanthropy.
