She moved to Sweetwater Falls for a new beginning, as the town’s Sheriff. While out on a hike, she crosses paths with a grieving mother. A woman that is desperate to find the truth behind her daughter’s horrific murder.
The teen girl was found dead in the woods, her body showing signs of abuse. With many whispers and rumors swirling around the girl’s death. Attempting to solve the case could tear the town further apart.
With the desire to protect the town she has grown to love, Spenser takes on a cold case. Interviewing the victim’s mother reveals another layer of mystery to the case. It seems someone is attempting to scare the woman from looking into her daughter’s case.
High school bullies, a long-held grudge, and a devastating tragedy. Lies have power, but they also have devastating consequences. In Sweetwater, it seems the many whispers are an untamable wildfire in the making.
