I loved this story , and the mystery of who the husband was as a child

Difficult timing of words.

Pretty good story however it was difficult to notice the timing of words and sentences.

The location on Bald Head Island was an interesting twist.

I was disappointed that a Chicago experienced beat police woman would not have any strong actions - there was talk - but when someone pulls things out of her hand she doesn’t display any trained skills to protect herself. Very weak portrayal of the characters capabilities.

Digital Voice Ruins This

This isn't the worst digital voice I've heard, but the distinction between characters wasn't even well defined. If digital voice is the new thing, one would think you could do a better job of separating male and female characters and even between individual characters in general. As for the story, it isn't bad, however I do not see the point in the book separations. The end was rushed and there are too many things left dangling. This author writes more like a young author trying to develop their writing skills. It could have been good, it has some good intrigue, just not well developed.

The "Ai" reader/narrator was terrible!

The "Ai" reader/narrator was terrible! It didnt accent words properly in a sentence,which kept throwing me off. And did a terrible job between characters so sometimes I didnt know who was talking. Please stick with human narrators!
