Standard Mary Calmes
Ok, I love Mary Calmes. I am totally fine with hearing very similar character dynamics over and over again when it is the kind that Mary Calmes goes with. This story was an excellent example of those dynamics. It is very loving and tender relationships with one of the people needy or a mess and the other a caretaker who sees the inner strength and beauty of the needy person they are with. I'm all about it. Greg Tremblay, the narrator, is always on point. I don't really need to know anything else if he is the narrator, it goes into my cart. No disappointments so far!

Love this book and the narrator
This is a super cute novella – almost part of the Matter of Time series but not quite. We get to see quite a lot of familiar names but the bulk of this story is about Peter and Carver. These guys are two completely different guys who really love one another.
They’ve already fallen in love, but now they have to get on with LIFE. LIFE brings them to Carver’s family’s house and the idea that soon Carver wants them to relocate from Chicago to this small town in Kentucky.
Through a bunch of cute little stories, Carver’s family shows Peter how he’ll fit in and how wonderful it can be.
It’s a very sweet, zero-angst, warm and fuzzy story for the holidays – a must for any fan of the series and Mary Calmes.
Audio
Greg Tremblay – what an amazing voice actor! He manages to do different variations of “southern” including “southern lady”! He did an absolutely fabulous job with this narration and it absolutely adds to the overall enjoyment of this story.

Heartfelt. The family we all want.
Intense at times but the love made it worth the human family frailty. Wonderful book.

Sugar Coated Fluffiness
Mary Calmes can do no wrong it seems. I was going to pass on the book originally because it was so short. I'm glad I didn't it was a very sweet short story that had be laughing at random moments, and smiling so hard my cheeks hurt by the end.

A short but great story, and Greg Tremblay reading ..
Can anything be better... Greg Tremblay has a magical style of narration, characters are great and his sense of timing, is amazing. Mary has written a really good x-mas short story and with Greg reading it, it becomes awesome.

This book was absolutely to short. There is a great story here and the characters are so loveable. This short story is crying out to be made into a full length novel. Great story and great narrator a must listen.

This is typical Calmes fare with the sexy cop who doesn't realize how hot or worthy of love he is until he meets that ONE special guy. Family, friends, Christmas, perfection all around!

Great short story - wish it was longer

I'm not usually a fan of short stories but this one was heartwarming, sexy, well written, and generally adorable. Even the secondary characters were memorable. It was a sweet holiday tale and narrator Greg Tremblay was quite good. Recommended!
