Very well written.

The story and the narrator were excellent. I really enjoyed these first two books in the series. They were very well written.

Very good sequel.

Always feel like I have to remind people that 4 stars is interpreted as "It's Great." Love Jo Jameson as a narrator. He's very, very good. Enjoyed the continuation of the original story in this sequel. And enjoyed how all the lose ends were tied up and all the questions answered. It was very good.

Sad situation topic

While sexual abuse of children is tragic reality, it also is a depressing topic for fiction reading. Robotham captures the terrible impact this behavior has on the children with great emotion and sadness. I don’t care much for the “flashback “ approach to telling the story. The plot drags for much of the book but is only a minor distraction. Be advised the use of sexually explicit/street language is scattered throughout the story. Hopefully this story will bring about greater public awareness of this terrible aspect of human behavior.

Excellent

The Thrilling Adventure continues...
Cyrus the Psychologist and Evie his abused patient stir up a lot of danger in this story. The Intense mystery grows, as Cyrus uncovers clue after clue to a Sick pedaphil ring that Evie survived.
The plot is Intense, with Excellent characters and you will find out that some of these characters are Creeps.

The Narrator is Perfect! He really brought both of these stories to life. Both books were Excellent. I will be reading more from this Great Author👍

Great follow up

I enjoyed the continuation of the first book and learning more about the characters. The narrator has such a variety of. voices and styles that I just really enjoyed listening!

Brilliant

Another wonderful book by Michael Robotham. Gripping, heart wrenching and beautifully read by Joe Jameson

Tough subject matter, fair presentation

This two series novel had a well evolved storyline and characters. It tackled a very difficult subject matter in a manner that doesn't undermine or betray the victims at the center of it all. It even broached the practical reality that whoever informs public opinion indirectly influences politics, wealth and power. A bit deep for a fictitious mystery novel, but entertaining nonetheless. I'd recommend.

Fantastic series!

Was super sad when I finished book one only to discover book two!! It didn't disappoint and now just wishing there were more!!

Really satisfying!

Usually sequels do not live up to their predecessor but this was an exception. So riveting!!! I loved it! A true psychological thriller meets mystery that had lots of twists and suspense. I can’t get over how much I cared for the characters.

Truly intelligent writing. Some humor and definitely kept m interest.

Really good….

I don’t think I have ever given five stars for a story and a narrator, but this one deserved ‘all the stars…’. Joe Jameson is a man with 1000 voices and as many accents. I was pulled into the story and stayed up late listening to it more than once.
