Wanted to love it, but…

I wanted to love this book based on the reviews, but I didn’t. I did love that Molly narrated it and her narration was great. She made the characters come alive.
I liked the idea of the short stories and how they came together. But in the end, nothing was answered. I feel like it left more questions than answers.
It was a huge disappointment. I am not sure why people loved this. I wanted to love it, I really did.

Surprisingly refreshing!

Beautifully written! Incredible storytelling! Interesting how she ties the stories together. Refreshing read that tugs on your heartstrings and lays wide open the realities of being human. Highly recommend this book!

Interesting storyline

initially struggled with this but the intertwining (or novel in stories) style was intriguing and added interest to the relatable characters and interactions.

I had been interested in Ringwald as a writer

and wasn't disappointed. She really did a nice job in developing her characters. Her story was only too relatable, and unfolded realistically. Her narration was well involved in the story, and totally believable.

Surprisingly nice

I was only interested in this book because it was written by Molly Ringwald, one of the actors I grew up with and admired. But, I'm glad I chose this title. The story is real life- dirty, painful, confusing, hopeful- all of the things we go through. I recommend this book if you want something easy to listen to and a story that can resonate with just about everyone in some way.
