With the first book I was unsure, but it's a wonderful story. Don't judge the story by the beginning. I realize now that Elizabeth's character and upbringing in the first book is a necessary part of the story.

I love reading Janette Oke books. And I especially enjoyed reading this one. It touched my heart in so many was.
