Healing words

What a delight this book is, from beginning to end! All of the stories are simple and wonderful; told by the author in his soothing, smiling and knowing voice. Robert Fulghum states in one of his essays that he wishes he could have spent time with his grandfather--I wish Robert Fulghum WAS my grandfather! Instead, I am inspired to look about more closely in my world, to see if I can spot the wonder, humor and softness so often hidden behind the unescapable war, trauma and nonsense which crowd the headlines. If the author is not an official Zen master, he's certainly one in my mind--and my newest hero. I am grateful that I stumbled across this book. Should you, like me, be looking for something to soothe your ragged souls, you will find solace here. A sheer delight in every way!

Amazing outlook on very simple things

It is amazing book by Mr Robert
life's biggest lessons from such simple things as watching a sunrise to working of a round mirror ... from a janitor's right thing to do to simply eating a chair to a father's Christmas gift... thanks for the such a awesome book... it was very good listening.. though the stories may make you cry....

Simply Love Fulghum's essays

really enjoyable book, full of life and wisdom that is found in a simple but wee lived life.

Reflections on Life

This was another good book by Robert Fulghum. Just many good reflections on a life and a life we can identify with at times.

Gets better as it goes on

The essays are a bit meandering, although the performance is good. The second half spoke to me more than the first. I do wish there were more Fulghum audio.

I thoroughly enjoy listening to Robert Fulghum essays and short stories. I find them meaningful, fun, and wholesome. A wonderful collection of thoughtful and inspirational works that are heartfelt jem's.

Always a relaxing and enlightening “read”

I love any of Fulghum’s books. A jock essay to make you chuckle or a few chapters to make you think.
