I really loved learning more about Vegas. I’ve been here forever so a lot of this I knew but not all of it and I love that you were hearing different perspectives and experiences.

Some information was repeated. Many chapters were too long ie Jesse G, Bellagio fountains. Interested in how he got some of the people. Felt some key players were left out, Frank Marino opened doors for the Lgbtq+ community, Newton would have had a great story or 2, Greenspan family. Old staff from the Stardust, John O'Relley, esq, Disappointed with comment that a lone female sitting at center bar is a working girl.

I love all the secrets that have never been shared.

the personal stories and how it changed their lives. Exposed some of the secrets. Now I want to go visit the Wynn! I have been to a few of the others

FUN read!

I loved the “real people stories”, the historical insights and ‘’visions” of all the pieces of Vegas that were NOT part of my recent vacation.😂

What happens in Vegas…

I really enjoyed that each chapter was a glimpse into the history of Vegas or was a personal story of one of the city’s influencers. I chose this book because I will be visiting in the summer and wanted something fun to get me excited. The tidbits of history are short and make for excellent listening while commuting to/from work everyday! I loved learning about how the motto “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” came to be; the story of Elaine Wynn; the story of Cirque du Soleil; the drive through wedding chapel; and more! I can’t wait to go now! You will love all of the great stories!

Best Vegas book ever!

Every story in this book is fascinating and well read. I loved this book! It has everything. Great stories. I have read every Vegas book I can find and this one is by far the best I have ever heard. If you love Vegas this is a must read!

Behind the scenes of Las Vegas

Some good stories, some okay stories. As someone who’s been to Vegas many times there were some things that I already knew but there were enough that I didn’t know to make it interesting.

As someone who has lived in Las Vegas most of my life, I found this book fascinating! The majority of the book has occurred during my life time and I enjoyed reliving and learning more about the history of my home town. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Las Vegas to read it. I have been telling anyone in my life who would listen to read this book it is a real treat!
