I have a library of over 2,000+ Audible recordings & this audiobook I rate, all things considered, in the top 2 or 3! It is essential reading for anyone who is following the CoViD saga… and who isn’t?

The author artfully tells a gripping narrative, naming names, places, events, dates, times and gathers them together to build precept upon precept, fact upon fact deeply involving the reader in a thoughtful, intriguing & compelling story that favors neither the blue team, nor the red team but explains & imparts so much useful information to the human team, desperate for solid enquiry and real answers in the ever evolving & mutating enigma that is CoViD19.

Thoroughly eye opening

Like "The Real Anthony Fauci" this book is excellently sourced and covered. The storytelling is excellent and the rigor is seemingly beyond reproach.

I highly recommend here and to every person who I think will benefit from listening - just about everyone who is capable reading and comprehending it.

This is the 1st review I have written out of all the books I’ve listened to. This book is amazing as far as all the info that’s given. What I liked the most was that it wasn’t slanted to one political side or the other. I hope word gets out about this book so more people look at the info the mainstream media doesn’t tell people.

Compelling Reporting, But Sloppy Editing

This book is about largely circumstantial evidence on the origins of COVID. The best definition of circumstantial evidence I know of comes from an old joke about a trial in the old west of a man accused of biting off another man's ear in a bar fight. At trial, the defendant's lawyer asks: "You didn't actually see my client bite his ear off, did you?" Answer: "No, but I saw him spit it out." As the joke shows, circumstantial evidence can be compelling.

Sharri Markson, an Australian journalist, does a really thorough job of showing that COVID probably originated in a laboratory leak in Wuhan. Unfortunately, Markson's evidence is about a worldwide disaster, and is no joke. It's truly thorough reporting. It is really disappointing that no one in the U.S. has, to my knowledge, done an equally thorough job.

Markson documents the obvious point that China shut down any inquiry into the origins of COVID. That is not surprising. Why was it not reported in the U.S. that the Wuhan lab mysteriously shut down in the Fall of 2019, around the time a leak would have occurred? Why was a gag order imposed in China? Why was contemporaneous illness in China not reported/ Why was it not reported that the Chinese army took over the lab shortly thereafter?

Markson also documents the far more surprising tale--although we all witnessed it--of how supposedly mainstream scientists pushed the narrative of a natural origin almost from the get go and tried to shut down any suggestion of a lab origin as a "conspiracy theory." Why would supposedly serious scientists and medical doctors--who would hopefully have an interest in the truth--push this? Because of their involvement in either funding or collaborating with the Wuhan lab. And that includes the U.S. government.

Why would a compliant press go along with this even though there was clear evidence of a possible alternative explanation? Because Donald Trump suggested that there might have been a lab leak, and, for that reason alone, it had to be false. Almost anyone can dislike Donald Trump--he certainly gives plenty of reasons--but to dismiss a lab leak as a possibility on this flimsy basis is simply embarrassing. Donald Trump seems to send U.S. intelligence agencies into apoplexy. First, they swallow the Russia collusion narrative hook, line and sinker, and they they fail to clearly assess the origins of COVID, even suppressing efforts inside to find the truth. Of course, the press also fell for the "St. Fauci" narrative.

The most distressing thing about this book other than worldwide failure to insist on a proper investigation of the origins of COVID is the complete and utter failure of U.S. intelligence agencies. They have been manipulated by Russia, and now by China. Markson demonstrates the latter clearly.

Does anyone in the U.S. government come out of this looking good? Aside from a few lower level deputies who courageously kept digging for the truth, Mike Pompeo. Read the book and judge for yourself.

If I have a criticism of this book, it is the lack of tight editing. The book jumps around and is repetitive. It could be twenty percent shorter and even more compelling. It feels like it was rushed to publication--not surprising I guess--but a more streamlined narrative following the timeline would have been better.

Is the case for a lab leak air tight? Maybe not, but it seems the most likely explanation, and the real "conspiracy theory" was the effort of certain scientists and governmental personnel to shut it down. Their behavior bordered on disgraceful.

Stunning, Refreshing, Honest, Frightening

I recommend this read to all who are open to understanding and thirsty for truth about Covid 19 origins.
