I spent the first 24 years of my pastoral career in three beautiful churches around the country and then semi-retiring on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I had no idea that these barrier islands were about to become one of America's hottest wedding destinations.

The Outer Banks Wedding Association contacted me about being one of their wedding officiants, and the rest is history. After hanging out with over 3,000 couples, you can imagine that some pretty 'wild' things happened along the way. Most were funny, and some were sad, but I started to document them over the years.
