Funny and Romantic

enjoyed from beginning to end love the women with their personalities and pets. The males are focused on pleasing their brides. On the last book of the series

Fun!

Romances rarely give me so much as a chuckle, but this was surprisingly full of comedic gems! The shrieking cat had me in absolute stitches.

This had me laughing out loud

The MFC is the Monster "Lover" we all can relate with and I absolutely lost it when she stated "I'm down to clown" about getting busy with the MMC. So many good one liners in this story!

Yes she is over the top, yes this story is silly, but it was so much fun. I'm loving this author, the series, and the narrators. In fact, I've enjoyed the audiobook experience so much that I'm waiting for these audiobooks instead of jumping over to Kindle and reading them, just so much more fun listening to these for me.

Aside from all that, this book also takes the biggest step forward with the universe building and likely setting up 2 potential spin off books with other aliens. Highly recommend the series and this book!

One of the best!

I absolutely love their relationship dynamic and how friggin funny the book is overall. It feels like one of the readers has been transported into the book and the sex scenes all I can say is chapter 29 gotta be one of my faves.

Funny as hell

Now this my favorite our of the series. I was laughing my ass off. it's a fun adventure with of course sexy scenes but this is a great book. Great narrating too.

The heroine: Rebecca (a.k.a. Bex) - she was the only one of the all-female mission to Suevan territory that wasn’t very upset when she found out that what they thought was a welcoming ceremony, was actually a wedding ceremony and she was now married to an alien. See Bex was a huge fan of alien and monster romance novels, and she was more than happy to be starring in a real-life version of one of her favorite novels. She had fantasized about falling for a monster for years. Though she wasn’t too happy about the fact that their choices were taken from them by their own government, she thought her new husband was all that and a bag of chips.

The Hero: Warlord Dergoz (a.k.a. the brute) - he chose Bex when the females first landed on his planet and was more than attracted to the curvy female. Though when he heard her refer to him as a ‘monster’, he was completely disheartened. He had always been called ‘the brute’ by his colleagues and he wasn’t fond of being thought of that way, so when his own wife called him a monster, he took it to heart. He was grouchy and broody and refused to spend time with Bex.

The Story: The human women were each implanted with a symbiont translator, but they each started working at different times, so Bex still could not understand the Suevans. Though she had Gen, to translate when she went to Dergoz’s home to give him a batch of cookies she baked. He was grumpy again and wouldn’t talk directly to her, but he mentioned that he had to go to the capital that evening, so Bex came up with a plan to stow away aboard his ship and go with him. Little did she know that the warlord commander had cancelled the trip to the capital and was instead sending the brute, who was one of the best warlords, on a dangerous mission to a databank of their enemies, the Roth.

I have enjoyed this series quite a bit so far. Each book is different, the first had an attack on the planet by the Roth, the second was an Indiana Jones-like adventure through the jungle, and this one is a space adventure. The characters are great, and the world building is also pretty good. I like that for a change; the female isn’t all butt-hurt about being on an alien planet and being mated to an alien. I like it when the females take things in stride and see their new life as a big adventure. I mean if I was in space, or on a new planet, and paired with a tall, handsome warrior that I was attracted to, I would hope that I would see it as a new adventure, though I would miss my family on earth, and probably some of the things I like about Earth, I would still try to enjoy myself.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Mason Lloyd and Hollie Jackson, both of whom I like very much. They are expressive and natural sounding; you definitely can’t tell they are reading.

It’s official! This is my new favorite alien romance series. It has everything I love: beefcake alien alphas who are all about consent, firecrackers ladies, and campy, funny, melty good times. This installment features Becks, a tech genius and unabashed lover of monster romance books, and Dirgoz The Brute, known far and wide for his savagery.

“These are not the boobs you’re looking for!”
But, even with Dirgoz’s backstory and a mission into evil alien Roth territory, this book is at all times fun. And I love, love, love that Becks’ hacker skills aren’t just lip service: she’s Princess Leia with more brains … and booty.

“(gasp) You’re a butt man! … my perky posterior, my cute caboose, my heavenly heinie,
my bodacious badonkadonk!”
It’s also chock full of hilarious word play, from alliteration to awkward idiom translation fails, to sexy puns (the Fookie running gag was pure genius). Ms. Bell speaks fluent nerd and that hits me right in the marshmallows.

“Who’s Stan?”
Oh, and this book gives good bangs for your buck. I guess, since this is a romance book, it’s worth mentioning their extras that bring something extra to the bedroom scenes. The sex is just as sassy as the rest of the book.

Already bought book 4

I already have book 4, and I’m planning to buy the rest. I am truly enjoying this entire series and if you like strong, heroines and sexy aliens, you will enjoy this series as much as me.
