Good sequel
This was a good sequel. The action was incredible. The narration was top notch. The setting is great. The world building is good but is a bit frustrating. Though I think that's a bit of the mystery. Part of the big reveal. The "Luke I am your Father" part. So perhaps I deducted a star because I didn't get some answers I personally wanted. If that doesn't bother you then give it five stars. I'm picky. Still a great book.

This story has so far been a huge surprise. I am a huge ex-force fan, but this might be my new favorite. Brody is the coolest AI I've seen in years. Yes, even more than Skippy!

Lest we forget Bruce Willis
As always you guys have put forth another stellar book with this continuation of the wayward galaxy world. The believability of the tech and the AI involved always astounds me and never leaves me unable to trust and believe the reality of the characters. And let’s not forget to mention that, as always, Mr. Bray brings the rain when it comes to voice performance. I swear I could listen to that man read a book about cat poop on cement or paint drying on walls and still want more. Lastly you asked for a mention of 80’s and 90’s action stars. Bruce Willis comes to mind with his Die Hard movies as does Mel Gibson and his smattering of slightly off portrayals of rouge police officers. Looking forward to the next one!
