Watercolor Skulls is the second novel in the Rebel Skulls MC series. It is a standalone with interconnecting characters. It is suggested to listen to the series in order to avoid spoilers. It is a dark romance, but I promise it does have a HEA. There is no cheating in this novel.

It does contain dark content, including profanity, suicide attempts, sexual abuse, and violence. It could possibly have triggers for some individuals.

Loved

I fell in love with this series in the book form, and I am even happier now that I can listen to them anytime I want. If you want a story that will leave you on the edge of your seat while making you love characters that are not your cookie cutter characters this series is for you. Please take heed of the trigger warnings at the beginning.

This is a great fast paced dark romance. The narration is perfect. Second in series but I think could be read as a stand alone no problem.

I read this series in Kindle Unlimited, but when the book "Avenging Skulls" was finally in KU, I had to go back and read the series again to refresh every detail. Thankfully the first two were available in Audible, but boy...hearing this book puts you right in the story! just close you're eyes and you're right there in every heart felt, or.... ummm....ya know...some other, scene. I can not wait for more to come! ❤🥰

Get ready to be emotionally flayed open

I was SOBBING so much during this. The agony and angst that the characters had to work through cut deep and the voice acting was amazing. You could hear every emotion in their voices. I felt it would have hit better in duet style though. I wished that there was a bit more story to flesh out and that it wrapped up a bit too neatly and quickly from a bad guys lose standpoint, BUT that it ended up where it needed to be overall. I am scarred from this book but will DEFINITELY seek out this author again.

All the emotions!

I love this book and series already having read them months ago but the audio brought all the emotions even stronger. Such a wonderful book with a great performance from the narrators!
