This review will only be helpful for long term fans, of this series, with a good memory.
If I were reviewing this book on its own merit and not taking the previous books in account, I would say that this story is decent. It didn’t draw you in emotionally, it didn’t have you on the edge of your seat and it wasn’t all that sensual; it was just ok!
In addition, the current narrator has not even been half as good as the original narrator that narrated the early books.
I have loved this world and its characters but, the last few books have been a disappointment. It has come across that the author has lost interest in this world, so perhaps, the series should end.

My biggest issue with this book was that a listener would need to have forgotten details from the past books to buy into this book. First, Paxton( who has been known as vampire/demon hybrid) has a chemical shot into his body that activates some dormant genes that have disguised his real genetic makeup. Apparently, he is really a curjen(sp?)/demon hybrid. Although, the queen of the realm, who is a genius geneticist never notices any genetic changes even after the drug starts changing his genes; and she takes blood daily. After the change is complete Paxton can’t tolerate the sun but he has been for the previous 24 years. So, here’s a short list of some of the author’s blunders.
1) The curjens have been searching daily for a cure for their sunlight intolerance and this has been a big part of previous books. However, they already solved the problem, at least, 24 years earlier. They were already able to genetically change embryos to eliminate their issue long ago. So what happened? Did they forget or lose the recipe?
2) Previously, it has been stressed that curjen blood is acidic. It burns other species skin and will kill another species if they ingest it. However, after Paxton’s change, he gives Hope blood several times to help her heal with no issue.
3) so maybe this curjen has vampire blood? Except , a curjen gives him blood after his change and there is no issue. Wait! Also, after his change, a vampire also gives him blood and there is no issue with this either? Wtf? Also, he gets blood from an injury on Hope, but it doesn’t burn her skin like every other time curjen blood has gotten on her.
I could go on but I think the point has been made.
In addition, no explanation was given for these exceptions in their ADVANCED, scientific world. Apparently, the author was just counting on the crappy memory and the lack of a BS meter of the fans that have followed the series from the very beginning. What a disappointment 🤬!

Absolutely brilliant story

This is the 16th book in the Dark Protector series and oh my gosh, I am at a loss for words because this book was so brilliant! First of all, everybody needs to read this series. The characters are so well written, well developed, and generations are interwoven with each other in such a brilliant fashion. This story is about Hope and what she feels she needs to do, and is her destiny, to bring peace with the different nations. I do not want to give away any spoilers because I want everybody that reads this phenomenal book to feel exactly all of the emotions that I have just had the honor of experiencing. There are twists and turns within the story that I sure didn't see coming! I am beyond thrilled with how the entire story wrapped up. I feel that it was exciting and a beautifully written love story amongst all sorts of action for lack of better word. All I can say is that the story is truly a beautiful story and I am very thankful that I have the pleasure of reading it! I not only have the ebook but I purchased the audible book as well and it was just truly phenomenal! I cannot wait to see if there are more stories in the Dark Protector world. Rebecca Zanetti is a truly gifted writer that draws her readers into the story and leaves you feeling so satisfied! This book is a must-have for everyone!

Hope’s own love story

Finally we get the epic conclusion to the love triangle between Hope, Drake and Pax. . We have followed these characters since they were children and they all have stayed true to who they are and who they want to be. Hope finally ended up with the male who was always her destiny. I loved seeing all of my old favorites , Dage, Talen, Zane and Garrett. As well as some of my new Vero, Hunter, Libby and a lot of Hope’s other cousins. This series kept me always wanting more from these characters, who are truly a strong, fierce family. In the end, they finally take Ulric down with help from the Seven.( although I wish there was more of them in this book) I will miss this series, one of the best I have read. However I just hope that there is more to come.

Love this series! Warriors Hope is one of the best books in the series. I couldn’t stop listening!

Loved it! Rebecca Zanetti delivers consistently. Action, heat and HEA!!!! The characters were great. The women are forever strong. The men are strong but not belittling. I’ve loved this world since the beginning.

Such an unexpected 😲 twist

I've read all of the Realm, Protectors, 7's... all of them. So when the story of Hope came out, I went back and read all of them all over again to have everything in perspective.
I won't spoil the story for anyone who hasn't read it yet. Just know it's another great Rebecca Zanetti book! 👍 👌
