Our new detective agency isn’t exactly booming, and I can’t quite tell whether it’s because we’re three strange men trying to solve others’ problems or the pig.

Of course, nothing can ever be simple for too long with Felix and Lane around. When Grayson–a man I used to work with–calls, everything is thrown out of control. I’d been willing to give him my heart once, but after my world was shattered by outside forces, I’m not sure there’s any heart left to give. But life for someone like me doesn’t stay quiet… though maybe quiet isn’t what I need. Maybe someone to pull me out of my past and push me toward our future is who I’ve been waiting for all along.

I’m determined to clean up the past and make Cal’s life better, even if he has no idea what I’m doing… even if he’s determined to never speak to me again. Yet when events lead us together, I can’t stop myself from being overwhelmingly happy to be in his presence again. He might believe that he’s a bad guy, but I see him for the amazing, kind, and funny person he is. But first we have to end the past that’s been haunting both of us once and for all. Thankfully, he’s going to be right by my side as we do it.

But why did the pig have to come along?

I LOVE this Series

I was so excited for Cal book. So happy it finally arrived and audio too. It was heartbreaking but had all the laughs. Loved all original characters. Amazing narrator

Joel Leslie does a great job with this cast of characters and the story is Alice at her best-Lane, Felix, Cal, and Sir Oinksalot bring zany humor to another adventure! So good I cannot wait to listen again

It's been too long!

This is my favorite series by Alice Winters, and I was shocked to see this come out! I thought it was done after so long without a sequel. I am so happy to be back with these characters, and they didn't disappoint. Felix is as crazy as ever, and yes poor Lane! That pig is a great addition. I am in awe of how Alice Winters can make me laugh, and then make me cry. Poor Cal. I would love to have more books in this series, it's too good. And Joel Leslie is still amazing. Love that guy.
