Finally the Right Time for Ash & Amelia!

After reading Hold the Forevers, I wanted happiness for Ash since Lila wasn't the right one for him (yes, I'm firmly on Team Cole). But could Ash ever get over Lila? Could Amelia, the girl that's always been in love with him, be the one to help him move on, or is she destined to be second best?

This story's dual timeline chronicles Ash and Amelia's past and present. Their history is littered with heartbreak, missteps, and bad timing. Despite those things, these two friends have been there for each other and can tell each other the hard truths. Their journey isn't easy, but fate brings these two together when they are both emotionally ready to be together forever. I really enjoyed this angsty second chance at love.

Just Perfect!

The Queen of Angst did again! Ash Talmadge was worth the wait! I was no stranger to the history between Amelia and Ash I loved how we finally were able to fill in the gaps of what exactly happened between them. I honestly did not want to put this book down. I felt every obstacle they experienced. Amelia has so many vulnerablities in her personal and business life. She is also passionate about her work and her goals. Ash is a broken soul but he is also so charming. Ash and Amelia are truly meant to be and the journey they made to get there was so heart warming. If you are looking for a brother's best friend romance done right with the perfect amount of angst this is your book! Another must read by Linde!

Incredible

After Hold the Forevers, I was really unsure I could ever love Ash let alone like him. KA Linde obviously had a plan with our boy Ash because I think I fell as hard as Amelia did. Amelia has pretty much been in love with Ash her whole life but instead of being in love with her he thought he was in love with someone else and that Amelia was his best friend. The live between Ash & Amelia was absolutely worth the wait. I think they both needed to mature to recognize the depth of their love. What an amazing story!!

Great Narration for a Great Story

Not going to lie, I wasn't sure if I wanted Ash to get his own book... But I am so glad I got it!

Ash and Amelia have a friendship that grows into more, but the timing is always off..

I loved their story and the things they had to overcome to find their HEA! I enjoyed getting more of these characters in the series. They are ones that will stick with you.

Emotional and Heartfelt Love Story!

Wait for Always by K.A. Linde was a brother's best friend to lovers angsty, emotional romance that captured my heart from start to finish. Amelia has always loved Ash Talmadge, but their timing has never been just right until now. Their journey to HEA is full of obstacles from the past to overcome and a second chance to finally have their very own love story once and for all.

Ava Erickson narrates this audiobook, and she is perfection as Amelia Ballentine. In Ava's performance, you could feel Amelia's vulnerabilities, passion for her work, and dedication to loving Ash and finally letting nothing stand in their way. Ava's portrayal of Ash was swoony, charming, and dreamy as he finally gave in to his love for Amelia. Her performance gave me all the happy chills!

Overall, I loved this book. If you a fan of a brother's best friend to lovers romance with a hot hunky Southern gentleman, determined patient heroine, second chances, flashbacks, ice cream dates, future business dreams, trips to Savannah and Charleston, slow burn steamy times, and a HEA that proves true love is worth the wait, then you will love Ash and Amelia's story. I always look forward to more from K.A. Linde.

Feel good story

I like the characters and the story. I just thought it jumped around to much and sometimes was hard to follow.

Not her best, but good story

I love K. A. Linde books, but this one had my head spinning with all the forward, then backward, past to present to past to present. Good story though with our happily ever after.

Mad I Bought This

I was not prepared for what this entailed. I went in cold to this book so I had no bias with Ash, however I think he’s at minimum confused but more likely a player who takes pleasure using the beauty queen of Savannah ( Very Steel Magnolias) as a door mat! She takes his garbage over the years and continues to give him more chances-even when he literally runs away from her after a shared night together.
Nope, nope, nope!
Don’t be fooled by the awesome cover like I was. Buyer beware!
