In the end, Tamino and Pamina, Papageno and his new girlfriend Papagena are happily in each other's arms.

Car alarm in a symphony, what!?
Loved revisiting this classic from my childhood.
Shocked by the chapter interruptions, seriously!? It’s like a car alarm going off in the middle of a symphony!
Great introduction to Vivaldi for kids of all ages (I’m now in my 30’s and still love it!).
Wish they had more from this series on audible.

lovely
perfect intro to Vivaldi for children, highly enjoyable, my 4 year old was humming and dancing to it and really involved with the story.

Why the chapter narration?
The “chapter 1”, “chapter 2” thing is unbelievably annoying. Almost ruins the wonderful story. Please, Amazon, fix it.

Good vintage kid content

Bad Chapter Breaks
This version had just awful chapter breaks. They will literally cut off in the middle of a sentence and an obtrusive voice will announce the new chapter. If I remember correctly, the version I listened to as a kid (on cassette) didn’t have any chapters at all. Seriously it’s distracting and almost ruins the story.

I listened to this as a homeschooled child and still enjoy it with my children.
I don’t love the chapter breaks, but it’s beautifully narrated with Vivaldi’s music. I’d love to hear his operas.

Great recording and story

Wonderful except...
This was one of my absolute favorite CDs to listen to when I was little. I believe that I first heard this when I was like 6 or 7 yrs old and I'm now 33 so needless to say there's lots of nostalgia attached to this story for me.
The story is good and well performed. That being said.....adding in the verbal chapter breaks really messed up the flow of the story.
