Good Grieving

I struggled to finish this book. I selected this book with the recent death of my loved one. The book is filled with nice stories. Beyond listening to them it offered me little to no comfort in dealing with my own loss.

Touching, Reassuring, Uplifting

What did you like best about this story?

Some of these stories really tug at the heartstrings -yet at the heart of each is a message that is both soothing and uplifting. The chapters alternate between a male and female narrator, which is a nice touch.

Which scene was your favorite?

All are beautiful but a few really stayed with me - Chapter 14 - A Brother's Passing, and Chapter 19 - Our Beloved Daughter Rayne

Front cover to back, this is the perfect book for someone who has lost a loved one. If you don't know what to say to someone in mourning or want to follow up with something more, I highly recommend this.

It's such a comfort to know I can have contact with loved ones that have passed on. That is amazing!

What did you like best about this story?

There was so much love in each of these stories, the writer's and God's Love. It is amazing to see how their prayers were answered in different ways. It helped me to better recognize my own experiences with loved ones who passed.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

While the stories are enjoyable, at times I wanted to pause and reflect on what I had just heard. There can be a lot to "digest" in one chapter!
