great story

i love this story , it has adventure, attacks, revenge. love that is tested, strong women that is in love of a man that is killed on their wedding day and she is kidnapped by a man that is in the group of warriors that attack her camp. the leader name beast finds out who she is and who she belongs to and he decides to make her his slave, bad time turn around when beast falls in love with her , what will happen , there is so many turns and shocks in this story, and things are not always what they seem like. I enjoyed this and Emma Parry did a great job, as the narrator

This book was very interesting and intriguing. I like Viking stories. This one had a lot of action and was a love story. I liked it very much. I can’t wait to listen to the other books you have written. The narrator was very good at telling the story too.

Excellent Book!

This is a very engaging story. The author really transports you into this world of Vikings. I loved every second of this book.

I do So hate to see this Trillogy end !! What a Fantastic Ride and Such a Perfect Ending !!
Emmanuel de Maupassant has Truly Done it Again , these are Books one will want to listen to or Read again!!!

Dark and erotic; full of Viking action and love

The Viking series is so realistic and atmospheric that you feel that you are in the villages and sharing the Viking rituals, fierce raids and lust. Just when i thought that Ms, de Maupassant could not top the previous two books in this series, Viking Beast blew me out of the water. What a fantastic book by a very good writer.The narration was perfect for the book! This is an unusual romance that works on so many levels. There is suspense and action as one Viking village raids another in revenge. Characters that I loved in the first two books may perish and lovesr Eirik and Elswyth are parted when she is taken prisoner by the vicious and scarred Viking Beast Eldberg. He is determined to break her spirit as part of his revenge and make her his sex slave. Wow, this book is so hot! The scenes where he makes her his slave are so real and so sexy. And Eldberg is such an unlikable character, full of hate and vengence and love for his deceased wife, it is hard to believe that he could change. It seems very realistic for Viking times. And the author adds rich Viking culture and tradition so that you really feel like you are there. The book sets up a seemingly impossible set of conflicts that will keep you reading until late at night. Can they be resolved? I don't want to spoil any of this creative plot, so you just need to read it for yourself. You will love it.

And the violence and ugliness continues. and I still keep listening. It is addicting. I had misgivings and a strange sense that all was not as it seemed as I listened. Checknit out and see if you can spot fact from fiction. Secrets and betrayals come to light.If I wete reading this I would have had to walk away a few times, but as I listened I was riveted. An amazing series. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review. The narrator's voices and expressions added to my enjoyment of this story.

Fantastic series and loved it. I highly recommend this audiobook series. Narrator did a fantastic job also.

Torture of the worst type

Revenge is something that can rip whole communities apart.
So when one leader is told that a foul deed that lead to death and destruction, was the work of another community, then the need for payback rears its ugly head.
Then to have a loved one of those that had committed the death of his beloved, well, there is nothing wrong with revenge.
Word of warning, the use of sexual activity as a torment to a captive is part of this storyline. If you feel strongly about explicit sexual acts, then I suggest this isn't a story for you.
