Good writing, fascinating theme

What woould happen to a city where the police relied on vigilantes for help? While the main character tries to find out how and why this got started, we get to experience the effects. This book shows us from the perspective of the criminals, the vigilantes, the police, and the general public how everyone has been corrupted, as we follow the attempts to chase down a violent criminal.

The writing was very good. The characters were interesting, and very convincing. Some of the developements seemed inevitable, and others came as complete shocks. I also enjoyed the narration.

I can't wait for more of the series to come out.

Really enjoyed this audiobook. Interesting story line with intriguing characters. Definitively looking forward to the series!

Amazing story told from multiple perspectives

An amazing book that hooks you in right away. Each character has their own hardships and battles they fight and it’s told beautifully. Narrator did a fantastic job conveying emotions from many different characters. Finished this book and can’t wait for book 2. LETS GO WILL

Can’t wait for the next book!

I love to read the work of first time novelists, and this one had me hooked in the first few pages. Complex, flawed, and yet still relatable characters paired with an intriguing storyline made this book hard to put down. I devoured the book quickly wanting to see how it all came together. Now that I’m finished, I’m looking forward to the next book in what will be a great series.

This was a really good book. I found myself struggling to put it down. Personally, when I can feel myself getting emotional one way or another, I know it’s an encapsulating read. This book really tugged on some strings that aren’t typically even touched when I’m reading other books. I can’t wait for the others in the series.
