I adore this series

The Audible version of this book takes me away every time I listen to it. I've listened multiple times! Please, don't stop writing MK Eidem! The combination of love story, scify fantasy, and adventure are tremendous!!

Questionable repeat performance

The first time I listened to the book, it was fantastic. I love MK's books and I have listened to them all multiple times. They are my go to when I need something to relax with. However, after listening to this twice, I no longer have any patience for Victoria. I can't believe how bratty she is. And the voice of the narrator just comes across as whiny. I also didn't care for the initial conflict between her and Lucas was a bit much for me to handle. During all of those chapters, I just wanted to slap them both. That said, I really do like the story and once she's past the "woe is me" stage, she becomes a little more likable and the story doesn't make me cringe as much. Of all of MKs stories that I have read or listened to, this is my least favorite.

2nd Book

Okay so I really enjoyed the first book. I believe this story is good. I suggest self reading this book. The voices make me cringe. Sometimes I can listen long enough the reader will grow on me. This one got worse the longer I listened. There are so many great readers out there that would have made this listen so great. Too bad!

No. I love both the book and the audio

Victoria's mom. She held everyone together.

Victoria. Her brothers perform every what very lacking

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Sad at first and with her parents , but it got a lot better. , but the suspense was off the chart.

The narrator who did Victorias brother was lacking. No emotion

Victoria & Lucas' Have Their Story

Hooray! Book 2 in audio & done by the same talented narration team that created M.K.'s other audiobooks. Victoria is all grown up - certainly mature beyond her years - and is ready to claim & be claimed by her lifemate, Lucas. They overcome personal obstacles to their happiness, and complete their own mission from the ancestors. It's good to have Cassandra & William still involved, and they all play a part in dealing with an added threat from within the House of Knowledge. Well worth the credit. Recommend Unreservedly.

A Good Second Book

Victoria has grown up and is ready to claim Lucas, but is he ready? He has made a big mistake while waiting that almost ends their pairing before it even begins. Then He gets hurt and it is up to Victoria to treat him and get him back into a blade. but will the treatment cause him to hate her instead of love her? Then Victoria realizes that her parents and little brother are still alive on Earth and she has to get to them before it is to late.

M K Eidem is becoming one of my favorite authors. I love the sound effects and multiple narrators just add to each book. There are the usual stories within stories and it is a surprise to see how each fits in with the overall story. Now I am eagerly awaiting the next book in this series.

I just love M.k. Eidem's ' books on audiobook because the narration style is so entertaining and I love the stories and even the music accompanying them!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Love Lucas! I actually love all the characters in this series. It's amazing to see how Victoria has grown from the traumatized child victim from Earth to a young woman too.

All of them!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sweeping Sci-fi drama with romance, high drama and intrigue

Amazing!!!

This is how all audio books should be with sound affects and both a female and male narrator . They both were amazing making the characters stand out and bringing the story to life!!! I can't wait for the next book.

Sigh I love but…

I absolutely love this story it’s my favorite in the series but Victoria’s voice is so high pitched sometimes it makes me cringe. That being said I’ll still listen to because it’s my favorite
