Truly, enjoyable

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and was truly impressed with her writing, and also the narration.
Loved the homage to family and family history. A certain sweetness in her story that I truly appreciated.

Wow what a story!

I think I want to become a cobbler. Great story. Loved all the characters. It was great to read about a woman who wants a successful career. Looking forward to reading book 2.

My first time reading this author and now I'm hooked! Loved her descriptive prose and love of all Italia! Narrator, Kathe Mazur, was magnificent! Thoroughly enjoyable all the way from beginning to happy ending!

Family’s traditions was the highlight of the story

I liked how the story celebrated handcrafted shoes, the artistry of the profession, the family interactions and traditions.

I loved this book. The characters are fun and likable! I always love this author.

Easy listening romance

What a fun book! The family dynamics are a hoot during the many gatherings of this Italian family. A well developed story with characters who are also well rounded. It’s a tasteful romance novel with a whole lot of family situations. I immediately got book two in this series when I finished this one. Excellent narration!

The personalities of the characters.

Sense of family. Sensuality of each scene that puts us right there. The romance of the whole novel. The relationships that take us deep into an Italian family. Especially loved the scenes in Italy.
