I liked that Mads has finally emerged as the dark character she is and that Elvin finally sees her.
Characters in series have evolved true to form- socio/psychopaths are such confusing creatures due to their charm and seductive nature.
Now he sees this and seems to have recognized he needs strong boundaries for his very own survival.

The narrator speaks in such a low voice it’s hard to get it loud enough to hear and his voice is fairly monotone.
The story is good!! The plot and unexpected events that took place were sad and so surprising. Can’t wait for #7!!

Drew Strickland writes very engaging books. l love the sherrif Elvin Halley series! Keep them coming!

This series is off the charts! Idk where this author came from, but one of you publishing houses need to pick him up FAST!! He is incredible!
I have listened to these books one after another sometimes more than one in a day! The characters are STRONG, the story lines twist and turn and most of the time take you to an ending you NEVER saw coming!
I have a couple more left before I’m caught up and waiting for him to write the next book!!
KUDOS, this is one of the BEST SERIES I HAVE LISTENED to in a LONG TIME!!!!!
5 stars and highest regards for this book and for series!! Do yourself a favor and listen!!
