Resumen del Editor

Sure, the supernatural happened during biblical times. But hasn’t this all settled down by now? Growing up in a traditional Baptist church in Arkansas meant that I learned almost nothing about "spiritual forces", about the tension between good and evil, about the afterlife and heaven and hell - except to be told that one place was desirable and the other place was not.

But the more I read of God’s Word, the more I realized there was little room for a "look the other way" mentality, as it related to life and ministry. My feet had been planted not on a playground, but on a battleground. And it was clear that the battle was for my faith, for my family, for my purity, for my fidelity to Christ, for my very soul. How had I missed this before?

My plea to you is this: We mustn’t brush this reality aside, thinking that what we don’t know won’t hurt us. What we don’t know absolutely will hurt us, and hurt us in powerful ways.

But this book contains very good news for you: There is a clear-cut way to understand things that cannot be seen. Things that have a profound effect on you and me. There really is more to life than what you see. (Jack Graham)

Amazing Insight into the Supernatural World

This is a fantastic book for anyone looking to learn more about the supernatural world, God's creation, and His divine plan. Pastor Graham does a great job of provide many of the answers both believers and unbelievers are asking when they struggle to grasp what they don't understand.

Lots of citations from the Bible which explains with evidence questions I've had for a long time.

Great book. Frustrating narration.

I am suiting thus brief review in the middle of the 2016 election cycle. The book is incredible and the narration is skilled. BUT... the narrator refers to the vast majority of the books of the bible in "Trumpese"...or ONE Corinthians, or TWO Peter.... Which is so distracting because I don't believe I have ever heard Jack Graham use that vernacular. I have always heard the'proper' pronunciation as FIRST Corinthians or SECOND Peter.....it is a seemingly minor thing but I found it quite distracting and I would fixate which detracted a bit from the listening. Immediate association with the mocking that Trump took for that type of pronunciation earlier this year and the equation that he was taking his association and familiarity with Christianity. What was maddening was that on a couple of places in the audio presentation the narrator uses the conventional pronunciation! Seemingly minor issue that I found distracting enough to write a brief review. Maybe won't be so off-putting for a listener if they know in advance.

Very hard to critique fellow Christians, but...

I'm fifteen chapters in and this book hasn't spent but five minutes talking about its advertised topic. The narrator is great, but this is really one long... Really really long boring list of hypothetical people facing challenges. The stories about real people turning to Christ are great but that's NOT the advertised topic of the book. Save your money and go on YouTube and find good stories. You're not gonna find any sort of biblical exposition spiritual warfare, Satan, demonology etc... Not one bit.
