series keeps getting better and better

the series just keeps getting better and better. the more books we go, the more depth there is and the more you care about the characters narrator continues to do an amazing job. voices have been consistent throughout the series. characters do need to learn to communicate a little bit better with their loved ones has never fails that somebody is second-guessing. does that person really love me? normally that would really drive me nuts in a book series and yet somehow it really works out in this series

Tap is back and so am I!

Between pets turning up dead, kids on steroids, and nagging doubts about being involved with a much younger lover, Tap certainly has her hands full in this one! Magnificently written and narrated in screenplay style, I love that I can just sit back, close my eyes, relax,and “see” the story unfold. Everything around me disappears, time disappears and I am transported into Tap’s world until the last words are spoken. This is my fourth Tap story. I feel like I know these characters and I have come to care about them. The writing feels so real, the people feel so real. I love that feeling and I loved everything about this story. I just can’t get enough! Five stars!

She's distracted by concern over the new man in her life. He's younger. Is he too young? Is there a future for them?

A little hint without giving too much away. She is just that good a detective.

As a widow she continues to do the best she can to raise her two children alone, always considering her life-changing decisions that affect them.

I liked the story. Tapioca and her family are great characters.Gino,'not so much' .His voice sounds like dracula.The biggest issues are no one talks,they just keep running away. I always wonder why this narrator was chosen for this series. Ms Bumbak has such an odd cadence,it affects the storyline. She has a pleasant voice,but all I can think about is how her sentences flow so oddly while listening.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
