Good end to the Duet

This book picks up right where Unexpected left off, thank God! I don't like cliffhangers! I immediately wanted to pick this one up so that I could get to the happily ever after. I won't give a summary because I don't want to spoil the first book. But I enjoyed this one.

I didn't like it quite as much as the first one unfortunately. I still loved all of the characters. I felt like Gabe, Michael, and Amie fit so perfectly together. I just felt like they were apart so much in this book. For me it took way too long for them all to be reunited and I got annoyed with that. Of course when they did get back together, it was totally worth the wait. This book definitely had all the feels still, I just wish there was more. Overall, I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more by Alyne Hart.

I liked that the duet continued with the same narrator. Isabella Starr did a great job. I just wish there was more emotion in the dialogue and more distinction between the characters. But overall, very enjoyable.

Great HEA

This is the second book I've read/listened to by Alyne Hart as I was finishing the duet. I loved how she wrote what felt like could be authentic emotions in the relationship although my heart was hurting so much for them.

Isabella Starr is a good narrator. I enjoyed listening to her and felt like she did great with the male and female voices. Great performance.

UNconventional starts right where UNexpected ends and first third of the book is the fallout and learning to live with the fallout of Micheal's decision. I wasn't sure how Alyne Hart was going to resolve this issue or how they were going to be able to recover from it. I was pleasantly surprised on how Alyne Hart dealt with the hurt and betrayal and subsequent healing that Amy, Gabe and Michael needed to do in order to make their relationship grow and thrive. UNconventional was filled with love and heartbreak, friendship and redemption. Overall an amazing story of an unconventional love and the courage to share it with the world

The Perfect Way To End The Duet

This is the ending I needed for this duet. It wasn’t always pretty getting there but it is so worth the journey. I love these characters and felt so much for them. Amie grew and devolved into a strong amazing woman. And I got to fall back in love with certain people that may have ripped my heart out in the first book.

I love the dynamic that Amie, Gabe and Michael have. This is such a satisfying conclusion. The narration is still great!

Michael still has unresolved issues and leaves , Gabe and Amy are devastated. Can they keep their relationship together? Will Michael resolves his feelings and return to them? The sex is steamy and HOT!

MFM Romance

This is the conclusion of Amie, Gabe & Micheal's story. Book two picks up right where book 1 stopped. Amie, Gabe. Michael fell in love on the island and then the complications began. Gabe & Michael have know each other from "the system" and have tragic childhood stories and issues. Micheal leaves when he feels that Amie loves Gabe more than him. Book 2 is all about the fallout from the decision; how it affects all three characters. Gabe and Amie continue there relationship but both miss Micheal. Gabe misses him so much that he leaves to find him and figure out what went wrong. No spoilers but this does have a HEA.

This book is an emotional journey and as the title states a very unconventional love story.

Isabella Starr does a good job of narrating each character and bringing the story to life.

Great Ending to a Wonderful, Heartfelt Series🎧📚🎧

This is a wonderful and heartfelt continuation of Amie, Gabe and Michael’s story, it picks up where the first book “Unexpected” left off. The characters met while on a volunteer mission, they bonded and then fell in love, all was unexpected, especially the falling in love, none of them were looking for it. According to Gabe and Michael good things happen in three but do they really. When Michael’s past catches up to him leaving him frazzled & insecure, feeling unloved and unwanted, he jumps to conclusions and winds up making a decision that changes everything. This book is more of an emotional journey than the first book but I am happy to say things wind up the way they should by the end. Alyne Hart thank you for another great story and series ending.

Isabella Starr continues to bring these characters and their story to life. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures the characters emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧
