How am I supposed to live until book 3? Might as well just give up and reread Liar City, then this, then Liar City again.

Such a riveting story

Evan and Reece are such great characters and the storyline of this series is fascinating and well written, with many unexpected laugh out loud moments! I can’t wait for book three!

Even Better Than The First

Pros: Strong weaving of different POVs, nudging the plot forward, and slow burn romance. And thankfully less angsty fainting and vomiting than the first. Cons: I’m still getting my head around how empathy works and progresses. Maybe I’m being too “dead man” logical. ;)

The ending, the middle and the beginning. So many feelings

This entire book just captured my heart in more ways than one. I can’t wait to read the next installment. I hope everyone lives.

Heart racing and witty

I have been waiting on my toes for this second book, re-reading the first several times over and going so far as to mark the release date in my calendar! I love Allies pacing in her writing, keeping the perfect balance of tension, action and comedy. The world of Evan and Reece is truly unique and I honestly haven’t been able to fall in love with such a universe is a long time. I was blown away by the plot twists and character growths in this book and will be rereading (or listening) to both the book for a minute while I wait for the third!
I normally have a hard time getting as immersed into books that swaps POVs between a multitude of characters but Allie does it in such a way that I’m always able to jump right into wherever she brings us and it works so beautifully with filling in plot details and makes the pacing of the story just that much more thrilling. My heart rate monitor alerted to a elevated resting rate because the last few actions in the story. Thank you Allie and Joel and anyone else who helped this series come to life.

Can’t wait until the next one!

That cliffhanger should be illegal. I can’t wait for the next one. I love seeing the LGBTQ+ representation!

I loved all these characters from the first book, but now I’m OBSESSED with them. Cannot wait for book three

This made my wait feel so worth it.

I had the release date for this book on my calendar! Liar City is one of my comfort rereads and I’ve been desperately hungry for more of Reese and Evan. And all the characters honestly. Jamie is great and I’m so glad Evan now has her in his life too. (since i listened to the audio i’m sure I’m spelling all the names wrong) And Joel Leslie is one of my favorite narrators. He’s one of the few men who I can stand listening to voice women characters. I’m very excited that I now have two rereads to switch back and forth between. And also sad for my future self as I wait for Book 3.
