In book 10 in the series, Ainsley is hired to find the 12-year-old daughter of a woman who was told by her husband, the baby's father, that their baby had died during delivery. Ainsley could see that the decision her client's husband had made had been a difficult one and that the baby's father had simply been trying to do what was best for everyone, causing conflicting emotions for Ainsley about the job she has agreed to take on.
