This is one of my favorite series by Jeannie Wycherley. Detective Elise Liddell is determined to find out who killed flower seller Lily Rose Budd b/c this murder reminds her of Wizard Dodo’s death. As she is investigating, she discovers those she thought were friends are actually enemies & some she thought were enemies are on her side. Tumble Town can always be a challenge but now she faces new & more dangerous magical forces. Of course her team @ the Wonderland Detective Agency are proving to be invaluable to her. Another great listen, especially if you like stories involving the paranormal.

SCARY THINGS IN THE NIGHT....yes I think the hair on the back of your neck will stand up.. but it is not just the night, NO, the shadows and shapes are not what they seem are they? Poor DI Lizzie, what's what and who's who? I found this exciting and scary, loved the animals and poor Snitch the ex Snitch to the now ghost partner of DI Lizzie. I have not read book 2 in this series yet so don't know how the rabbit came to be part of the of ghost, witchy group, but she was cute. Well narrated by Joanna Lee, her descriptions are on the money!
Recommended, clean, well written series by Jeannie Wycherley

Great Cozy Mystery

I enjoyed this book as much as the first two in the series. I was drawn into the murder mystery, and I liked how all the tangled lines came together, and secrets were revealed. The more I have gotten to know the members of Elise Liddell's detective agency, the more I liked them. I admired Elise's growth and care for those in her office. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I was entertained by Joanna Lee's narration as her performance was a pleasure to listen to, and her skill was admirable. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Tumble Town... a labyrinth of secrets

Received as an audio review from Story Origin, this is an honest review. Narrated beautifully by Joanna Lee, the paranormal world that is Tumble Town has become ever more dangerous with sudden murder of Lily Bud, a local flower seller that has left a mark upon Elise Liddel. Finding the truth for this woman's death puts Elise and her detective agency in a new level of threats that even the Shadow People are as deadly as any living resident of the town. Every corner a new enemy knows Elise is uncovering more of why Lily was killed but each twist means even Wizard Dodo's death is why more than what was believed. Every secret Elise finds only furthers to color Tumble Town in a light that Elise struggles to understand.

Never a dull case in this series.
