What You’ll Learn
This course includes Lessons 11-15 from the Turkish Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Turkish.

excellent. but you must put the time in. otherwise you are wasting your money. what you get in, you get out. tried and tested method so give it a go.

Good method for learning to speak

I like how this form of learning teaches my brain to build bridges between information. So far, it is more effective than learning from reading/writing or apps. I can finally hold a decent (very) basic conversation in Turkish. What I don't like about this course, however, is that everything is said in the polite version Siz. It gives an example of speaking to your friend, but I would never use the Siz form when speaking to a friend. I also found the pronunciation of vereceğim very peculiar, like it has been dumbified for the audience. Some of the words seem a bit outdated as well. Overall, a very good addition to learning Turkish in a practical way but don't expect to sound like a local.
