From circa-1888 London, with Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, to his compound in the far north of Canada, Mr. Franklin Victor Castle, formerly known only as Dr. Frankenstein's monster, launches into action, continuing a mission he began more than a century earlier. He'd been preparing for this since before the Second World War, when he set the wheels in motion. He thought he was as prepared as he could be to face the darkness.
He never counted on her entering his life.
In the besieged city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Frank's best friend and truest love is trapped by the living dead. With the world falling apart, friends and allies on their way to join him in the north, and a threat older than the human race knocking on the world's door, Frank heads off with only one goal...to save her.
