Love love love

So I may be biased, I love all of Jolie Vine’s books but hearing them on audiobook vs physically reading them is next level. High recommend anyone interested in her books both physically reads and listens to them.

Gabe!!!

Frank Ryan and Ella Lynch really brought Jolie’s writing to life!

I just loved Gabe! I was excited for this story as we had a connection with both characters due to their parts in previous books. Gabe’s love to his siblings was so deep. He took on the teenage resentment for saving them while the whole story wasn’t clear to the kids. He did it without striking back.

Effie was so sweet in previous books but it was good to get into her mind and see who she really was. She struggles with the curse that seems to follow the females in her family and probably is a little too hard on herself.

Gabe and Effie together complimented each other perfectly. They saw the other parts in each other that they didn’t know themselves. They brought out the best in each other.

So good!!!

I was very interested in these two and their story and boy I was not disappointed!! So stinking cute and I definitely think Effie is a character that I didn't know I needed in my life!! We all need an Effie! Narration was very good and accents great throughout in this book!! Well worth the read!

Love the book only one slight problem

Chapter 27 has a spot when they take a family picture where it crackles. Other then that one small discrepancy I love the series
