Gabe!!!

Frank Ryan and Ella Lynch really brought Jolie’s writing to life!

I just loved Gabe! I was excited for this story as we had a connection with both characters due to their parts in previous books. Gabe’s love to his siblings was so deep. He took on the teenage resentment for saving them while the whole story wasn’t clear to the kids. He did it without striking back.

Effie was so sweet in previous books but it was good to get into her mind and see who she really was. She struggles with the curse that seems to follow the females in her family and probably is a little too hard on herself.

Gabe and Effie together complimented each other perfectly. They saw the other parts in each other that they didn’t know themselves. They brought out the best in each other.

These two narrators are wonderful. Loved the story

Another WOW from Jolie and what a way to end this series. This story kept me reading. Who was hunting Effie? Were Gabe and his siblings safe? Lots of sparks, danger, and suspense to keep this story exciting. I loved both Effie and Gabe, their loyalty and protectiveness for their family, and willingness to trust as they came to know each other. I highly recommend this story.

I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook. I loved the story again. The narrators, Ella Lynch and Frank Ryan, did a wonderful job, and I really enjoyed the emotional intonations as they read the various parts.

Love the book only one slight problem

Chapter 27 has a spot when they take a family picture where it crackles. Other then that one small discrepancy I love the series

Gabe isn’t a McRae, but he fits right in

It’s great to be back on the McRae estate, even though all of our McRae’s are happily paired up. When we first meet Gabe in Stolen, I so hoped he would get his own book. He had the perfect mysterious air about him. His story did not disappoint! I loved hearing his story told by the same narrators we’ve had throughout the series. I really enjoy that continuity.

Gabe and Effie are such a delightful pair. Sort of a grumpy/sunshine theme, but more reserved/reckless. Effie is a fantastic character. She takes no crap from anyone. I love the way she needles Gabe and I love how he isn’t as unaffected by her as he tries to appear.

We’re also introduced to a few more characters that I’m crossing my fingers we’ll see in books to come!

Story and narration is beyond superb

Jolie Vines writes a wonderful, thrilling and captivating story and the narrators bring it to life. The intimate scenes….a fan and ice water are needed. Gabe’s intensity comes through as does his need to protect his siblings and his need for Effie. Effie’s drive for thrills, her uncertainty, fear and defiance at the situation she finds herself with a stalker all come to life. Their fiery attraction, their desire for each other and their struggle with what they are feeling become palpable through not only through Ms. Vines words, but also through the skill of the wonderful narrators. This book is definitely a keeper!

Absolutely fantastic Book and Audio ❤️

Another winner for Jolie Vines!! Gabe and Effie's book was wonderful this book had it all romance, extremely sports, suspense, a great plot, and lots of fantastic characters!! The plot was great as always with Jolie's books it was fast paced with no plot holes and great twists and turns to keep you wanting more throughout the entire book and sad when it ends!! This one also had a lot of suspense from noth of the main characters which really helped move the story along and made it just that much better, you definitely won't want to put it down, I know I didn't 😉 The characters were wonderful I absolutely loved Gabe and Effie they both had some major issues that they had to work through but this just made their characters more believable in my opinion. Gabe was such a great big brother and protector he was also such a great romantic lead for Effie, definitely swoonworthy ❤️ Then you have Effie, I loved her, she is just bada** I love that she's into extreme sports like her brother and doesn't take crap from anyone and tries to put Gabe and his family's safety first even though it hurts her since she's already fallen for him ❤️ Gabe's brother and sister are also great characters and I love how Jolie brought both them and of course the McCraes into the story!! T
Te Audible narration was also amazing, anytime you put Frank and Ella together you are going to have a fantastic book!! Both of these narrators bring their characters to life and I can't say enough about how great they are when they narrate a book together!! They make a great book better(especially if it is a Jolie Vines book)!! They have made this one of my favorite books in her collection and I sure hope they narrate more of them!! Overall this is a wonderful addition/finale to the Wild Mountain Scots Series!!

Oh hello Gabe!

Gabe has somehow made it into my heart and is SOOOOO close to overtaking Brodie and Blayne. I don't know how she did it but Jolie is making it hard to have a favorite!!!

Oh my word, Jolie Vines, you just keep getting better and better! It’s amazing to me how you blended these two stories together.

Effie, a young woman working hard to establish her own business, is facing prejudices long held by many males when they don’t see women as equals. On top of that, she has a stalker; and, he’s escalating! Who is it? Will she be able to come out on top?

Gabe is young man running from his dangerous father and his family’s far reaching connections. He has rescued his teen siblings from his father and is facing the fight of his life. Can he protect them, create a new life for them, and rescue Effie?

My all time favorite male character, Gordain, appears in this book! He continues to have such a calming presence while using his knowledge and vast resources to help people in dangerous situations. You definitely don’t want to miss this book!

So much excitement!!

Yet again Jolie Vines is the best story writer!!! I love all her books!! The narrators Frank Ryan and Ella Lynch are by far my favorites!! This book has so much life when you read it, but when it is narrated by them 🤗 it kicks it up so much more!! I absolutely love Gabe and Effie!! ❤Thank you Jolie!!

Best of the Series

Formulaic, trademark Vines story but made better than the others with her choice of both narrators. Frank Ryan is my all-time fave Scot!
