Repetition is GOOD! Imprint & apply great ideas...

Would you listen to Time Management Made Simple again? Why?

Yes! I've actually played it over and over - 15-20 minutes at a time while out and about, or running errands in my car.

What did you like best about this story?

Other reviewers complain about the repetitiveness. But it's exactly what I needed. LOL - even when I hear the same idea again and again, it's absolutely fine. Why? Because I'm an imperfect person who, in the "heat of battle" often forgets to apply what I know. Hearing Brian repeat something AGAIN keeps it fresh in my mind, and inspires me to actually DO what he's suggesting. Plus, each time I hear an idea he's sharing, I think up a new way or area of my life where I can use it. When I'm able to REALLY APPLY what he is telling me ON A CONSISTENT BASIS, then I'll feel like I have it mastered. Until then, the repetition is exactly what will help me master my time!

What does Brian Tracy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His quiet, "fatherly", no-nonsense, "here's how you do it" conversational approach.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions other than "Why didn't I listen and re-listen to this book every year over many years?" I wish I had!!!

Any additional comments?

If you're just skimming for "new ideas", there won't be a huge number of them. But if you need to keep reinforcing GREAT ideas in your life, you'll want to listen, absorb, and apply what he's sharing.

It helps me a lot!!! Simple yet practical.

I love everything that Bryan Tracy said in the book! Wow! Amazing! Practical & simple! Yet its true.. it will take a lot of discipline. Thanks for this eye opener book!

It seems sloppily organized and put together. Still It's better than most!

I Like This Guy

I've listened to a lot of Brian Tracy's books. A lot of his insights are repetitive, but that's also part of his approach. He is motivating and intends that his materials be listened to over and over to help keep you motivated and continue towards your goals.

Most important book I ever read

It was the most important book I ever read. I loved the way Brian Tracy complied these talks. While each talk is different he was still able to repeat many important things, helping me to remember without listening to the book three times. But I plan to listen again because it was so transformational.

The best time management book ever !

Loved this book, Brian Tracy is a genius. Great ideas, great answers for a lot of time management problems. He goes beyond just time management, he offers ideas on how to be the best professional among other things. I recommend this book to anyone who is trying to get a hold of their life. someone who is looking to make big changes. I can't wait to try this stuff out!

Great tools for improving the quality of your life

Great to listen to when you are in the car, or running. Keep repeating it and eventually you will start applying it in your life

Extremely Helpful

This audio book is a terrific summary of Brian's Time management theories. You could say there are complaints about it because he repeats. It's not like that he starts with basic summaries then goes into more detail. It's a huge help and terrific.
