This was "her" mistake, and now Dante has taken the fall for it. But that’s only half the story.
Dante’s "sheet" gets mysteriously padded with a few more kills, on top of the assassination of a pair of Serpicos. Dante doesn’t understand it, especially considering he was nowhere in close proximity to the aforementioned nonpolice victims.
Now, a baffled Dante plans to use his time in the slammer to get to the bottom of what could be an elaborate frame job, while his better half Alinna works on a plan to spring him. Alinna’s always been good at devising strategies. But this game plan is all about combining some of the streets’ most combustible elements in an effort to free her lover. Brainstorming is one thing. Ensuring things don’t fall apart and result in her untimely demise...is another.

Better than book 2
This listen was so much better than book 2. The narrator can still use some work but even she was better in this book. You still need to speed the reading up to 1.1, but it was definitely better

Issues!
This was a good installment.This narrator aggravates me but she's growing on me.The multitude of plot twists are entertaining and you never know who is going to be on the chopping block next.I'm especially surprised by the Dante love triangle.

Good book-horrible narrator
Honey Jones is a horrible narrator. She enunciates her words very well, but she places pauses where they don’t belong. Her reading is not fluid. However, the book was excellent. DO NOT use Honey Jones as a narrator.

I like all the twist and turns
This series is actually ok . I love Honey Jones even tho I wish she was coupled with a male narrator as well . Everything ties together really well

Please use Dylan Ford for your Narrator, his voice is perfect for a sexy, strong, man of power. The book is good I am truly enjoying the series. The book is worth the credit.💕🤓😍🙂
