Not as good as the first
Not sure what the hoopla is about this one. I’d probably get it if i listend to it again (the performance was grand), but i don’t have an interest in the story.

Quite odd
One of the oddest things I've had the pleasure of listening too. It is like being thrashed about from time to time. I can see why they took liberties with all the movies they made. He was quite an odd fellow this one. Overall I enjoyed the story.

didn't like it
I still don't get why people go so crazy for Alice in wonderland. I listened to Alice and through the looking glass back to back and i still can't figure out if Lewis Carroll is a genius or some crazy tripping addict. This story makes a little more sense then Alice but it's still a incoherent jumble of random events and characters. The narration wasn't bad, although some characters sounded a bit alike (i listened to Alice as narrated by Scarlett Johansson who in my opinion did a better job) and at times it was read a little fast.

Classic story, distracting performance
The Alice stories are classics, and I enjoyed getting to listen to this audiobook. However, the narrator's chosen voices for the various characters was distracting and detracted from the tone of the story. For my next listen-through of this book, I will be listening to a more thoughtfully-crafted free audiobook from YouTube.
