Stephanie is having a bad hair day—for the whole month of January. She’s looking for Mo Bedemier, ice cream man and Trenton’s most beloved citizen, who was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and skipped bail.
To help her, she’s got Lula, a former hooker turned file clerk. Lula’s itching to lock up a crook in the trunk of her car. And Morelli, the cop with the slow-burning smile, is acting polite even after Stephanie finds more bodies than the Trenton PD has seen in years. That’s a bad sign for sure.
Featuring a feisty and funny heroine who “comes roaring in like a blast of very fresh air” (The Washington Post), Three to Get Deadly is fast-paced and entertaining suspense at its finest.

If you could sum up Three to Get Deadly in three words, what would they be?
Witty, Snarky, & FunnyWhat did you like best about this story?
I really enjoyed listening to this book for the simple fact that it's funny. While Stephanie is roaming around town trying to get her man she teams up with her favorite ex-prostitute and hilarity ensues. This is a great book because it's a good mystery but really your living a life in the day of someone you can relate to. I would recommend this book to anyone. What does C. J. Critt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I really like how C. J. Critt is able to take on all the voices and even though they are similar they are different at the same time. It's really entertaining. If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
They don't make Candy store owners like they used to...Stephanie Plum is just fun
