Plum Lovin’

Loved that Stephanie got her man and woman. So glad Albert married Valerie. About time! I loved the story. I’ve listened several times. I love the match making. And Valentine’s Day, I’m sure Stephanie got the daisies in the single rose from Ranger. And the box of chocolates from Joe.

Evanovich's Plum Lovin' another great book

Janet Evanovich is one of my favoriet authors. When I start one of her books I just cannot put it down until I am finished. If you haven't read any of her books, start at the beginning of the series and just keep reading.

Totally Enjoyable!

Janet Evanovich never disappoints. Following Stephanie Plum and her "Scooby Gang" solve their mystery is a riot. I can totally get lost in this world with these characters. I want to have a donut with them!

Audiobook Review – Plum Lovin' – Janet Evanovich
“Plum Lovin,’” is an ‘in-between’ novella – Book 12.5 – in the Stephanie Plum series by well known ‘Chick-Lit’ author Janet Evanovich. My wife is a big fan of the series, and we listened to the audiobook while traveling to her parents’ 60th wedding anniversary celebration. There are four of these "Between the Numbers/holiday” cross-over novellas, where bounty hunter Stephanie Plum works with Diesel (another character from Evanovich’s Lizzy & Diesel book series). Together, they attempt to solve a case focused on matchmaking during Valentine's Day, as the “relationship expert” has gone missing after supposedly committing some crimes and Stephanie and Diesel pick up ‘the matchmaking’ to solve the overall case. It's a charming and alluring novella – too long for a short story, but too short for a full novel - that crosses the two series and hopefully brings new fans to both series. It was a fun and delightful listen, joyfully narrated by Loreliei King. The story had little substance but made me laugh out loud numerous times to make it worth listening too. Some of the regular characters are back with the same humorous and comical dialogue and the mystery, romance, crime, and comedy are still pertinent in this novella as well. A very fun and worthwhile 3-hour audiobook listen.

Not Quite On Key

This book, like _Visions of Sugarplums_ takes place in a slightly different dimension from the universe of the main series. VOS was so well done that I consider it a gem. This book is less well imagined, and spoils the character of Diesel and his uncanny nature by making explicit things that were better left mysterious.

Cute short story, won't earn a literary award, but cute.

Just the Plum books. The reading is getting better but don't care for the Diesel character.

As always Janet was exceptional. My husband and I listened on a long boring trip and laughed along the way.
