A worthwhile read and an affirming message!

The aspect of this book that I found so special and engaging is Victoria, the writer and narrator, shares her story as if talking with a new friend – – someone she likes and respects and speaks to sincerely and with care. Her story may not be exactly out of the ordinary, and the writing could use a little fine-tuning, but Victoria’s warmth, honesty, and strength elevate her story in a completely unique way and bring her to life as a character! Although she talks about her journey towards Christianity, you absolutely do not need to hold similar beliefs to find this book inspiring and uplifting! Her story is all about finding a belief system that works for you, and feeling at home in the world. She is someone I would be honored to know… In fact, I hope she will one day write a sequel to this book! Reading Victoria‘s book will make you think seriously about what you want happiness to look like, and whom you want to do life with!
