The only limited resource is human time. Everything else can be made, bought, or created.

Our life is made up of around 600,000 hours and every second is of infinite value. We live in an attention economy where corporations are fighting for our time with the goal of monetizing our every second. The money we use loses value and devalues our time through inflation. When we work, we are exchanging our limited time for money whose quantity increases every year.

It hasn’t always been this way. People used gold as money for a reason; it was also a limited resource. Now, what does the future hold? Valuing your time is the first step to improving your life. Knowing that your time is the only limited resource makes you more selective about the things you do, the people you spend your time with, and the assets you choose to store your wealth in.

Once you learn to appreciate your time, you will get busy doing the things you love and start making better financial choices.

The reading is pretty good. It is a short overview of bitcoin. i mean beautycin. i mean bioticin.

The case for Bitcoin, PoV time

There are quite a few reasons why one would fall in love with Bitcoin. This book talks about the scarcity of time (we'll probably live to be not more than 120 years old), and how would one want to save money they exchanged for their time and efforts for the following decades.

The book makes the case that you would need some store of value that can't be created arbitrarily, that is as scarce as our time.

Time freedom is the ultimate asset

This book reminds me of Vicki Robins, “Your Money or Your Life.” it goes into how you money is not the asset we think it is and it’s in fact time. My mind is turning now and I need to reevaluate what I really want in life. Great read!

Do you have to present counter arguments for bitcoin

This was the worst book I’ve ever listened to. It was incredibly short thank God. It was basically an advertisement for an asset that I am intimately familiar with. There are problems with bitcoin and yet not one was even referenced. Gold is not much different. It is all based on faith. And gold can I actually still be transacted with, contrary to what the author states. Additionally gold can be made into jewelry and the like. What a ridiculous book. BTW, you could buy gold and simply purchase some non-recourse leverage to juice your returns and volatility so that it looks like the roller coaster of crypto.
