This concise book will help you uncover how to "think database" by teaching you how to rationalize relational databases using simple but common examples from everyday life. Understanding these relationships that make up a database can allow you to figure out the overall structure of the database you are building or working on. This will allow for better use of the existing framework and increase your productivity while decreasing time spent crunching numbers. Use this audiobook as a starting point and supplement to your learning on the subject of databases, and you will greatly speed up your learning process.

No, i'd rather not. What do you think your next listen will be?
I like the Great Courses books and fiction every once in a while. How could the performance have been better?
The content made it hard to redeem. If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Think Database?
I think the book really suffers from lack of useful content. Cutting scenes might help to let the reader see that sooner.Awful | Bare Minimum to be Considered a Book

databases technology is not out-of-reach for the average educated person. databases are all around us, and as the information-age progresses it will be more and more useful to be familiar with databases fundamentals even if you're field seems unrelated to computer science...Any additional comments?
this book is tailored to be listened to on audio-format. it is organized and narrated in a way easy to follow while you're doing exercise or commuting. i loved the plain-english type of explanation because im not a computer science person. i found the examples used to clarify the concepts very close to my day-to-day living and thefore easier to remember. finally, i appreciate the useful tips and general knowledge the author provides on topics beyond databases, like industry trends and personal productivity...quite enjoyable kickstart to studying databases
