Relatable

I enjoyed listening to Humble the Poet’s life stories and the experiences he learned from. He is very in tuned to his own being and his emotions. It was refreshing to hear someone share so openly their mistakes, failures, and realization. I felt because he was so open and true to himself I was able to relate to some of his life lessons. Definitely something I’d like to read again in the future.

Excellent and insightful

The narration was easy to listen too. I found this book to be insightful and thought provoking. I enjoyed this audible. Humble the poet definitely dropped some hidden gems(life lessons) in this book. I will listen to it again.

Great outlook from both sides

Humble the Poet dissects deep in many of his experiences and relationships through life while focusing both on his negative outlooks but providing positive outcomes. His words are both and poetic and inspiring. Very good listen!

HTP’S STORY AND LESSONS LEARNED

Reflections of the social media personality, rapper, poet, author on his life lessons so far. Some really good guidance based on the experiences of HTP. Some of these are basic life experiences others are professionals as he made his transition from school teacher to poet / social media start. Many ideas / lessons put forward, including: Focus on the journey, not just the goal; Don’t cry because its over, smile that it happened; HTP also gets into some heavy subjects that most if not all of us face, such as coming to terms with spiriruality and being addicted to self pity. The line that resonated the most for me? “All personal growth lies outside our comfort zone”. In summary, a very relatable and heartfelt book. HBT has told his truth and encourages us to tell our own.

I actually would recommend many to hear or read this. We all need to sit back and take a moment. We all need to know when to regroup. All need to understand many different perspectives.
