Resumen del Editor

From our connections with our friends, family, partners and co-workers to how we interact with the cashier at the grocery store, there’s something strange going on in our relationships today. If you’ve recently been left scratching your head and wondering what that “something” is, the right book has just found you.

While human beings weren’t looking, our lives and relationships took an evolutionary detour, leaving many of us feeling ditched in a harsh, frigid, new world, scrambling for a bit of warmth, and seeking answers to the most pressing questions of our time. Where is all the hostility and tension coming from? Is there something in the water that would explain the extreme behavior that’s unfolding? Why are our relationships more fragile than rice paper and disposed of as easily as molded bread these days? Is there a way to adapt to the changes in the relationship environment and still live a good life?

In the tradition of her other books, Getting Over it in Milwaukee, Stamina, and The Stepping Off Point, the author continues to sound the alarm of awareness, personal responsibility, and liberation in managing your relationships. They’re Not Coming takes the listener on an unexpected evolutionary journey and dares to ask and answer the questions you’ve only contemplated in the quiet, dark corners of your mind. Where you end up on this trip it’s up to you. Either way, strap yourself in and enjoy the ride.

Powerful, Heartfelt, and Uplifting!

This book cut through the all the B.S. and pierced my soul. The author gives voice to the 'ordinary pain' we carry and inflict on one another, intentionally and accidentally. I loved the way she weaved in stories and fascinating information about how everything on this planet is subject to be transformed by the process of evolution- even our relationships. I sensed the author's vulnerability, strength, and good intentions toward humanity. I could imagine enjoying a cup of tea with her and being encouraged. I had the exact same experience she described in the chapter, "What I Learned at the Cheesecake Factory". Her words provided comfort, healing, and affirmation that walking away from a toxic relationship was the right choice for me. Sheila Robinson-Kiss is one to watch. I can't wait for her next audiobook!

A unique and refreshing experience

This audiobook is a treasure for all time. I listened to this book during a transition period in my life. Sheila's insights about the common and casual cruelty we are experiencing all too often today provided the healing I had not been able to access while in therapy. The book goes far beyond exploring what goes in our relationships today that can make them toxic. The author gracefully blends nuggets of spiritual information with priceless pearls of wisdom about how our evolution-dating back to the origins of civilization in Africa- have influenced relationship patterns to this very day. Listening to this book was indeed an empowering journey. I feel equipped to navigate in today's new relationship environment and embrace happiness.

Healing Evolution: Wise Woman, Wise Counsel

I highly recommend this audio book for it's wisdom and practical approach to the changing relationship climate that we are all experiencing but can't quite name. Are you a sensitive soul whose relationship ended in a train-wreck that you didn't see coming and just don't understand? Are you standing back at our world and wondering about the level of casual cruelty that seems to have pervaded daily life? Sheila helps you understand the evolutionary nature of this casual cruelty, and how to become accountable in your own life by honoring and building your relationship to yourself and your higher power. She is inclusive, humorous, empathic, warm, insightful and her words are truly both revolutionary and evolutionary. I have learned so much and walking with her is like walking with a trusted friend, who also happens be an angel. In addition to this book, she also has a YouTube channel where I go regularly to have my spirit lifted. Thank you Sheila for the light you bring to this world.
